Push or Pull?
The answer is both, depending on the circumstances. JustEnough’s Allocation solution takes all the guesswork out of which method to use by allocating products to stores where the products have the best chance of selling.
JustEnough forecasts customer demand and then, taking into account the current stock at each location and what has been sold, calculates both the optimal inventory to send to each location and how much to reorder across the supply chain. However, in certain situations, such as when an old season’s inventory (ordered prior to JustEnough being implemented) needs to be allocated to clear a warehouse, JustEnough will allocate the inventory to the stores where JustEnough thinks it will have the best chance have it sold.

Inventory at the Right Location
JustEnough protects you from sending the inventory to the wrong place, and then having to transport the inventory again to the stores that need it. If you have a set quantity for a specific product and aren’t sure which locations to send it to, just specify the percentage you’d like to allocate and hold onto the rest. Then, once the inventory begins selling, you’ll know which locations are selling the product and can push out the rest of the product.

Profiling and Supersession
To successfully allocate new products, JustEnough lets you create profiles based on the selling history of that new product’s overall category or department. You can then know how much of that product you need to allocate to your stores or stores clusters during both fast and slow selling periods.

Pre-Pack Configurations
To minimize excess inventory, JustEnough looks at demographic ratios for your store clusters and then configures how many pre-packs to order for each store cluster. This means you aren’t stuck with excess stock in certain sizes or low inventory in the best-selling sizes.
