three days to complete
- The replenishment process was only performed monthly because each and every line
item had to be analyzed manually
- Needed to increase in customer service levels and reduce the inventory investment
- Forecasting new parts accurately was critical
- Use JustEnough to enable the supersession of parts so that new products can be linked
to existing similar products for accurate forecasting
- Enable the forecasting of new items to be done by mimicking the patterns of similar
existing or redundant items
- Integrate JustEnough’s inventory business intelligence with Nissan Diesel’s Cognos
reporting software
- Automation reduced the time spent on exception reporting from two to three days
to just hours
- Customer service levels rose to 95%
- Replenishable inventory reduced by 25%
- Integration into Cognos reporting software now produces detailed reporting on replenishment
projections and advanced inventory analytics
- Within six months of implementation availability was close to the target of 98%
