2009 Year in Review: A Message from the CEO

Without a doubt, 2009 was a whirlwind of a year when it comes to business and the economy. Headline after headline about layoffs, falling sales and companies closing their doors dominated the media spotlight. However, in the midst of this very real struggle that still continues, there are definitely some companies that are not only surviving, but thriving.

I'm both proud and humbled to say that JustEnough is one of these companies. Actually, we were built for times like these. Our business is about helping companies save money and increase working capital through better demand and inventory planning. Supply Chain News: The State of Demand Planning 2009 by Dan Gilmore

"Will 2010 be the most challenging year to forecast and plan for in history? I have heard a lot of supply chain professionals say something along those lines to me over the past few months - and with good reason. For example, I sat next to a VP of Supply Chain for a metals-related company at lunch one day at the CSCMP conference in Denver this fall, and he said his company was in great angst over planning, budgeting and investing for 2010."

Supply & Demand Chain Executive
Critical Demand Planning Skills for Difficult Times

"A sound demand plan - a forecast and a means of monitoring progress through the month toward that forecast - is the first and most critical step in running a company's supply chain effectively. A good demand plan provides the basis for the company's production, inventory and, ultimately, overall supply chain costs. A poor demand plan forces all the downstream decisions in the wrong direction."

The Blurring Lines Between Planning and Execution
Companies Need Rapid Response Capability to Enable Continuous Alignment of Demand and Supply
