JustEnough Cited as a Leader in Forrester Research’s Wave for Retail Planning Solutions

JustEnough was recently recognized as a leader in retail planning solutions, according to the April 2014 report, The Forrester Wave™: Retail Planning Solutions, Q2 20141. The evaluative report gave JustEnough the highest score in the strategy category.

Based on an analysis of the 10 most significant software providers of retail planning solutions and how they stack up, the report states that "JustEnough helps retailers to stock the right merchandise in the right location, driving customer service and revenue through improved availability".

Additionally, the report called out that "JustEnough has an enviable record in managing and forecasting inventory and replenishment, and since the mid-2000s has developed and implemented an integrated retail planning solution with a common architecture and user interface, providing merchandise financial planning, assortment, allocation, replenishment and pricing, promotion, and markdown".

In describing the JustEnough retail planning solution, the report also emphasized how "Forrester particularly likes the ability to define and configure, without changes to code, metrics specific to a retailer's planning approach".

"We believe this report is a great acknowledgement of how JustEnough is executing on our strategy of delivering the leading end-to-end solution for retail planning and helping retailers to overcome the complexities of planning and executing in today's hyper-competitive, omni-channel retail environment," said Malcolm Buxton, CEO of JustEnough.

JustEnough Welcomes New Customers

Comvita is an international natural health and beauty company committed to the development of innovative products. They are the global leader in Manuka honey and fresh-picked Olive Leaf Extract, which are at the core of the Comvita product line. Comvita sells into more than 18 countries through a network of wholesale and third-party outlets and online. Comvita has offices in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and the United Kingdom.

Comvita's strong sales growth is increasing demand for limited raw materials and putting pressure on its existing supply chain processes and systems. Comvita was looking to improve its service levels and to better manage the complexities of its supply chain in order to maximize company returns.

Comvita selected JustEnough's Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Replenishment and Sales Forecasting and deployed using our OnCloud platform. The solutions were implemented over a 16 week period and Comvita went live with them on March 7th.


Founded in 1962, Shopko Stores is a $3 billion retailer that operates over 330 stores in 21 states throughout the Midwest, Mountain, North Central and Pacific Northwest regions.

Shopko has a complex promotional planning process spanning a variety of print and online media outlets and was in need of a new advertising and promotional planning system. Shopko selected JustEnough's end-to-end Promotion Management solution based on the solution's ability to meet the workflow needs of the Shopko advertising team, enhanced functionality for merchandising to create better promotions and JustEnough's knowledge of the Shopko promotional process.

Since its establishment 25 years ago, Kathmandu has grown from a small retailer of clothing and equipment for travel and adventure, to a vertically integrated business with a significant retail presence in New Zealand and Australia. Approximately 95% of sales in Kathmandu stores are Kathmandu-branded products manufactured by third parties using Kathmandu sourced or specified materials and designs.

In 2012, the Kathmandu team selected JustEnough's Assortment and Item Planning solutions to improve their planning process. Following the successful implementation of those modules, the Kathmandu team decided to address their manual, Excel-based allocation and replenishment process. Kathmandu recognized the value of JustEnough's end-to-end retail planning suite and liked the ease of use and intuitiveness of the JustEnough solution. The team selected JustEnough's Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Replenishment and Allocation modules to enable their allocation and replenishment process.

  Sean Kervin

Sean Kervin, VP of Consulting

In his role at JustEnough, Sean has global responsibility for all aspects of JustEnough's professional and implementation services. His team delivers customer satisfaction from kick-off to go-live and beyond. Sean brings 18 years of retail experience to JustEnough and has worked closely with many leading retailers including Target, Victoria's Secret, Best Buy, HEB, Office Depot, RadioShack, Rite Aid and 7-Eleven. Prior to joining us, Sean held senior level positions at DemandTec/IBM, CalmSeaInc, IRi and Proctor & Gamble.

  Keith Whaley

Keith Whaley, Director of Retail Strategy

In his role at JustEnough, Keith drives the design and development of retail specific functionality within the JustEnough suite of solutions. He brings 17 years of retail merchandise planning and category management experience to JustEnough. Keith served as the business lead in implementing JustEnough Merchandise Planning at Abercrombie & Fitch and also developed assortment strategies and plans for their flagship and international stores. Keith has also worked with Thirty-One Gifts, Kroger and IBM.
