  Mr Price

Mr Price

Mr Price Group is a fashion, value retailer of apparel, homeware and sportsware and is one of the fastest growing retailers in South Africa with over 1,100 stores and an on-line shop. Its business model is synonymous with offering fashionable merchandise at excellent value.

From Mr Price's inception, the use of information technology has played a vital enabling role in a sector that demands agility and quick response to customer needs. The majority of the current Mr Price core IT systems have been custom developed and vendor solutions include JDA forecasting and replenishment and Oracle merchandise planning modules.

Mr Price's business strategies for the next five years include growth in existing markets, continued expansion into new markets in new geographies as well as differentiated sourcing models. Successful implementation of these strategic business objectives demands a matching IT capability that can maximize the efficiency of current operations and underpin and enable the realization of growth targets.

Mr Price undertook a project to update its entire IT infrastructure, including an integrated planning solution that would allow merchant teams to plan, assort, buy and merchandise product on one integrated platform. Mr Price selected JustEnough Merchandise Financial Planning, Location Planning, Item Planning, Assortment Planning, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Order Planning & Replenishment and Allocation. The implementation will kick-off in June 2013 and all Mr Price divisions will be live on the JustEnough solution next year.

  GSK

GlaxoSmithKline

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is a science-led global healthcare company that researches and develops a broad range of innovative medicines and brands. GSK South Africa was seeking to replace its excel-based planning systems with a more flexible and transparent solution that could support their continued growth. GSK selected JustEnough Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning and Replenishment along with JustEnough Promotion Management to manage customer forecasting and trade spend. The integration of these solutions has eliminated manual intervention and allowed individuals to focus on their areas of responsibility.

GSK has gone live with Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Replenishment and Promotion Management.

  Bestway

Bestway

The Bestway Wholesale Group is the largest independent food wholesale group in the UK with 62 Bestway and Batleys branches across England, Scotland and Wales, and as such has considerable buying power to deliver the best prices to its entire customer base of over 100,000 businesses in the independent retail sector and the food service industry.

In 2013, Bestway selected the JustEnough Demand Planning solution consisting of Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Allocation and Replenishment to improve their forecasting and buying teams' processes by removing manual, paper-based order generation and managing by exception.

Bestway was then in need of a new solution to manage their trade agreements with their suppliers, eliminate manual processes and improve overall deal management performance. They initially were contemplating developing the solution in-house, but after learning about JustEnough's new promotion management solution and experience in this area decided to collaborate with JustEnough to develop a Deal Management solution. This solution will further extend the JustEnough end-to-end promotion management solution and will be available later this year.
