Aberdeen Market Alert Spotlights JustEnough Promotion Management

Promotion Management imageLast month, leading industry analyst firm, Aberdeen Group, released a Market Alert about JustEnough's new Promotion Management solution. This Alert highlights and recognizes the unique features and market position of this new offering. Following is an excerpt of the Alert and we encourage you to download the complete alert to learn more about the highly desired characteristics of JustEnough Promotion Management.

"In November of 2012, JustEnough Software announced the launch of their new promotion management solution. They intend for this offering to be unique in its integrated nature - offering promotion management capabilities that are

designed to be integrated into financial, merchandise, assortment, allocation and replenishment planning processes. The centralized, integrated "one version of the truth" promise of this solution would be a welcome change to the trade promotion management process.

In recent years, companies have begun to look at their trade promotion management (TPM) spend with a more critical eye. In the past companies spent mainly due to past precedent. The sentiment that "we have always done it that way" has been pervasive. Yet, with the reduction of print sources for promotions, companies have reassessed their long-standing traditions and practices for the new digital reality.

The new promotion management solution from JustEnough has some of the most highly desired characteristics indicated by survey respondents, including

Easy integration

Centralized data

SKU-level visibility

Social marketing monitoring and measuring

In sum, this solution can fill critical needs for many retailers and is a powerful addition to the promotion management landscape." Read the complete Aberdeen Market Alert - here.

The Bestway Wholesale Group is the largest independent food wholesale group in the UK with 62 Bestway and Batleys branches across England, Scotland and Wales, and as such has considerable buying power to deliver the best prices to its entire customer base of over 100,000 businesses in the independent retail sector and the food service industry.

In 2013, Bestway selected the JustEnough Demand Planning solution consisting of Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Allocation and Replenishment to improve their forecasting and buying teams' processes by removing manual, paper-based order generation and managing by exception.

Bestway was then in need of a new solution to manage their trade agreements with their suppliers, eliminate manual processes and improve overall deal management performance. They initially were contemplating developing the solution in-house, but after learning about JustEnough's new promotion management solution and experience in this area decided to collaborate with JustEnough to develop a Deal Management solution. This solution will further extend the JustEnough end-to-end promotion management solution and will be available later this year.
