JustEnough Introduces Next Generation Promotion Management

Next Generation Promotion Management imageJustEnough recently announced the launch of a new Promotion Management solution that is uniquely positioned to help retailers analyze past promotions and accurately plan and forecast new campaigns, events and promotions, as well as integrate them into their merchandise, assortment, forecasting, allocation and replenishment planning processes.

Retailers that leverage JustEnough Promotion Management will significantly improve the success of their future promotional campaigns and events, increase sales and brand awareness, lower costs, increase promotional planning efficiency and reduce time to market.

With the support of JustEnough's newest solution, retailers can expect to:

Create and manage effective promotional campaigns and events all within one system

Make informed and accurate decisions about what types of promotions to run, which products to promote and when and where to offer them

Integrate promotional planning into the overall retail planning process

Easily push campaigns and promotions into execution systems

Collect and store past promotional data in one system of record where it can be analyzed and used to plan more effective future promotions

"Promotions have come to the forefront as an important piece of the overall retail planning process - especially as retailers become more promotionally driven and competition grows," said Dan Pahomi, vice president product strategy, JustEnough. "While other solution providers simply focus on components of the overall promotion process, JustEnough Promotion Management is an end-to-end solution that unifies all organizations involved in the promotion process."

JustEnough Welcomes New Customers

Clicks is part of the Clicks Group, a health and beauty focused retail and supply group, with market-leading retail brands -Clicks, Musica and The Body Shop - and over 595 stores across Southern Africa. Clicks is South Africa's leading specialist retailer of health, beauty and lifestyle products and has the largest retail pharmacy chain with over 300 in-store dispensaries, including a direct-to-patient courier pharmacy service. Clicks is a contemporary, accessible retailer whose vision is to create an experience in pharmacy that has never been seen before in South Africa. Clicks is the third and largest of the Clicks Group retail brands to join the JustEnough customer community joining Musica and UPD.

Clicks' legacy replenishment planning system was inefficient and resulted in the carrying of excess inventory. The company decided to implement a new replenishment system that could maintain and increase service levels while simultaneously driving down stock on hand across their distribution centers and stores. Clicks selected the JustEnough Demand Planning solution to automate and support their demand forecasting, inventory planning and replenishment processes.

Digi-Key is one of the fastest-growing electronic component distributors in the world with revenues of over $1 billion. As one of the world's fastest-growing distributors of electronic components, Digi-Key Corporation has earned its reputation as an industry leader through its total commitment to service and performance. Digi-Key is a full-service provider of both prototype/design and production quantities of electronic components from over 470 quality name brand manufacturers.

With Digi-Key's continued growth, they wanted a leading-edge demand planning solution that could integrate to their home-grown systems. They were unable to improve forecast accuracy using their existing demand planning system. In addition, they needed a solution that was based around exception management that could handle events like the Tsunami in Japan, account for seasonality and create sales forecasts for new products. Digi-Key selected JustEnough's Demand Planning solution with Profiling.

Since its establishment 24 years ago, Kathmandu has grown from a small retailer of clothing and equipment for travel and adventure, to a vertically integrated business with a significant retail presence in New Zealand and Australia. Approximately 95% of sales in Kathmandu stores are Kathmandu-branded products manufactured by third parties using Kathmandu sourced or specified materials and designs.

Kathmandu is making significant investments in updating their systems to support their business growth and selected JustEnough Assortment Planning and Item Planning to replace their current customized planning tool.
